I have a '05 XLR still in warranty that measured at the fender is 5/8" lower on the drivers side than the passenger side. Where GM says to check on the frame it is only 1/2" off and that is still in spec', 5/8" is out of spec'. The dealer called the zone office to see if they would pay for the fix. They said no and that the labor charge would be for five hours. Has anyone run into this and what is involved in fixing it?
Thanks, Gaylon Kerr

Gaylon,
You have adjustable bolts at four corners of the car that will adjust up to one inch in each direction in case you wanted to lower the car. Take it to a local front end place, have them even it off with the bolts and then check the alignment. Should be no more than $100 bucks.
I had mine lowered but didn't like the ride and put it back up to factory settings. Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Gaylon sent me a personal email. He took it into a Vette garage and they adjusted the bolts in .8 and did an aiignment. Car is fixed. Just thought you would all like to know.
