I have a problem with my 2004 XLR. It seems when Im driving it there seems to be a 1-2 second hesitation when I press down on the pedal to accerate? Now they have recently installed a new transmission in my XLR about 3 months ago so Im wondering maybe there is a Update they could have forgot to apply or maybe its not configured correctly?

I also filled up with 89 Mid Grade so that could have some effect on it? I don't see how thou?

Other note I was getting a check engine light about 2-3 weeks ago and plugged in my OBD 2 reader and cleared the codes and I traced it to the Air Filters that were completely dirty. Since I have changed those it hasn't come back on.

Thx for listening and feel free to drop a note!

If your air filters were that dirty, you might want to inspect the Mass Airflow Sensor just downstream from the filters. If dirty, it can impede performance, but will usually throw codes.
