Not really knowing where to put this I figured under warranty, because most dealers will not repair or replace the outside bolster that gets worn do to fat wallets and sliding into the car rather than dropping in.
I'm the proud owner of a car bought at a different location and left to waller around like a golf fish with a shark on my butt.
I moved on over a year and a half ago to Tustin Cadillac, and I say this with pride, and they can't do enough for me.
This week I brought my V in for a clunking noise, like the exhaust hitting, and a tranny slippage, which I will post in the correct area..........also the bolster I mentioned was taken off and a new one from the factory was installed. How's that for service?
While picking it up there was an older XLR sitting next to mine in another bay. Mine looked like a diamond in comparison, and what do I find when I walk in? My adviser under the rear of the car checking if the exhaust was hitting anywhere. That almost brought a tear to my eye.
