Does anyone know if it is possible to replace Driver 1 and Driver 2 with personilation message like on the DTS? The dealer used a tech 2 handheld and put in "Hello Wayne" for me. They were unable to do this on my xlr.

If anyone does it would be Allen Kulbersh "Mr. XLR". The man know more about these cars then the guys that make them I think.

I am sorry to say the personalization like you have on your DTS is NOT available on the XLR. The D I C is not the same type of system and the software is very different, that is why it can't be programed.

Example, we have 3 totally different Nav systems in Cadillac. Even though the Escalade uses a DVD based system you still can't play movies like the XLR or your DTS. The Escalade uses a joy stick design instead of a touch screen, each have their own benefits.
