Took my 05 in for inspection and the people at the Cadillac dealership were commenting they had never seen a steel blue XLR. Since this is the only dealership in our county of 735,000 people I thought it was odd. Well then I checked the production runs and sure enough only 253 were made. The previous special editions were around 250 units so I guess seeing a steel blue is rare on a low production car.:yesnod

There are only 2 other forum members that I know of that have them .... JetBoyPHX .... one of the original Blue Bunnies from Phoenix .... And LinSue, from Wilmington, IL. At R2 JetBoy was the only Steel Blue, and at R3 LinSue brought in the only one.

It would be interesting to know how many other forum members have them??

Jean had an 05 Blue Steel which she traded in for an 06 Star Black limited edition.

There are a couple of Blue Steel XLR's which we see in the Albuquerque area on a regular basis.

I think we only sold 2, both in '05. It's a great color.

I have an 05 Steel Blue. It was on display at the Orange County Auto Show I always wondered why the color was not listed in the "What's Your Favorite Color" poll.

I have a blue '05. 19U Luxo Blue 253 of 4190 XLRs produced.

I've seen 2 others here in Phoenx. One an 05 and one an 06. The Liquid Amythest would be my second choice.
