I'm going to jump in here and say that you are fine at that temp. With the coolent and pressure in the system the boiling point is considerably above 100 C. On the USA version in F the mid-point on the gage is 220 and on your gage it looks like you are running at about 107 C or 225 F, which should be well within the normal range for the system. The engine is designed to run above 100 C - probably around 105 - 110C with the overheat at 120 to 125C.

Bruce may have more input on this after he recoups from RIII.

Yes, that should be around 225F.

Whether it's indicative of an overheating problem or not would depend on a lot of things including how it was being driven and what the ambient temperature was.

If it is actually overheating, you should get a message in the DIC like 'coolant over temp' and an audible warning bell.

When the engine is cool make sure the coolant cap is on tightly, the level is ok, and the radiator opening and fins are clear.

Some of the cars have had radiator issues, so be sure to check the prior posts to learn about them and their symptoms.

There's some more information in the owner's manual, and if you don't have one, it should be available over the net.
