At 18mos on my 48 mos lease on my great XLR with 19K miles I'll be needing new tires soon.I certainly dont want to buy the same tires, 'cause when I go to turn in the vehicle I will be charged for a new set of tires or at this wear pattern I'll have to replace them again @ 36K miles! Traction was horrible this past winter. I'm not a speedy driver.I drive mostly city driving with some xpwy driving.The dealer and tire stores want to sell Hi speed HI cost tires.Any good suggestions? Just bought 05 xlr and love it. Tires are horrable though. Anyone know the widest tire I can put on the stock rim or what are my options in changing rims? Can I by xlr v wheels? What will fit.
