I would like to know how many of you use some type of wind diverter (i.e. Kappa Windscreens or others). Maybe I am the only owner of three convertibles whose wife doesn't like the top down because the wind blows her hair. Do any of these devices work? Which is preferred?
Thanks,

At this time, I am using the free wind jammer that comes with the car. I just pop the center panel up (Beauty Queen Panel) and ride with the panel in the raised position. It's not perfect but it definitely reduces air flow without obstructing my windshield mirror view. :)

Am I missing something on my recent acquisition? What panel is this?

I think I know what he does........

With your top and windows down, push your "TOP-UP" button, and as soon as you hear the first "clunk", let go of the button. You now see that you have a wind-diverter.

Funny you should ask this question on the day after my specatular announcement of the BAMA WINDSCREEN.

I find the use of a windscreen a necessity due to the buffeting you receive in the back of the head. With the windows up, it's not as bad but still can be somewhat tiring. Caps and headcoverings are helpful, but a windscreen does reduce air-noise that distracts from the stereo sound quality.

The two types available are rigid and screen. The Cadillac OEM Windscreen is the latter. The rigid (lexan, plexi, etc.) is better at elimination of wind and associated noise, but has a very bad reflection problem with on-coming headlights into the rearview mirror.

Attachment (integration) onto an XLR is a challenge and the best I've seen is the almost invisable installation of the Cadillace OEM Screen. All other known installations have been with straps or cable-ties onto the roll bars.

It's a good thing we like you or we would get all over you for building aBama windscreen to keep Hillery away from us, and Voting for Abama too. That's the way I sees it. I knew there was somthing about you that I liked, but give me a few days and I'll remember it.:glol :glol
