So, what's the latest news on an XLR-V?

There was a flurry of email and strings a while back, but seems to have dies down.

Anyone know the official story, not just rumors and opinions?

There will be no official information untill about a year or so prior to coming to market. If? you understand how Cadillac and General Motors operates that no OFFICIAL word can be issued until the press release is issued.

But let me say this, I took my first XLR order in November 2001 almost 2 years prior to actual release of the XLR. I will also say I have been taking XLR-V orders for some time, but of course that does not mean there will be an XLR- V.

Let me add a note though. Delphi contract engineers have designed a brake system for the XLR with sixteen inch rotors and six piston Brembo brakes. Since the CTSV only has 14's with four piston Brembos, you can see where this is going.
