I couldn't seem to find this in the owners manual -- I'm sure it's been covered here: can anyone tell me the specific maximum unobstructed vertical clearance required to retract or raise the XLR roof?

It's not the roof you need to worry about, but the trunk lid. It goes higher than any part of it. In fact I have too stop it before it hits my garage door while it is open.

I just went and measured, it seems it measures just under 7' measured from the garage floor.

That what I have 6' 10 1/2". The top never goes any higher than the trunk lid.
