I believe the link will lead you to photos of the very first funny car buildup based on an XLR chassis/body..........or what is left of it! I for one see it as one man's passion to be the first - and that is what sets Americans apart from all others! We love our muscle cars!
I can see it now; John Force (or even better, our local resident Gary Scelzi) at the wheel of an XLR in the full-blown nitro funny car class. Oh Ya!!!
Come on Cadillac, if you really want fame/fortune donate a few lemons to the cause; they don't need the top, engine, tranny, etc. The body will do just fine!

I too seen the pics and it looks awesome!! I hope the guy is bulding it for the NHRA circuit; it will be neat to see it run. I go every year to the Route 66 NHRA races in Joliet--in my X and get a lot of looks. It would be neat to see this run
