3 MONTHS AGO, I PLACED AN ORDER FOR A NEW SET OF FLOOR MATS. 1 WEEK LATER, THE SALES MAN CALLED ME SAYING THAT THEY HAD A NEW SET OF XLR FLOOR MATS FOR A PREVIOUS CUSTOMER WHICH HE DIDN'T PAY FOR. HE SAID, "IF YOU DONT MIND, WE CAN GIVE THESE FLOOR MATS FOR YOU". SO I WENT TO THE DEALER TO PICK THEM UP, THAT WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT THEY DO NOT MATCH THE ONES I ALREADY HAVE ON MY CAR (THE OLD ONES). I ASKED HIM GENTLY TO PLACE A PECIAL ORDER FOR ME; SO HE AGREED. 1 MONTH LATER, HE TOLD ME THAT THE ONES I ORDERED ARE READY. AGAIN, WHEN I GOT THERE, I WAS SHOCKED TO FIND OUT THAT THEY WERE FOR THE OTHER CUSTOMER. THE SALES MAN APOLOGIZED TO ME AND PROMISED THAT MY ORDER WOULD BE HERE WITHIN TWO WEEKS. HE CALEED ME AFTER TWO WEEKS WERE OVER, SAYING THAT "GM HAS STOPPED THE PRODUCTION OF THE FLOOR MATS YOU HAVE ON YOUR CAR".
IS IT TRUE THAT GM HAS STOPPED PRODUCING THE FLOOR MATS THAT HAVE"XLR" LETTERS WRITTEN ON THEM?
(note that i already placed a deposit of $100 for my order)
AS I MENTIONED IN ANOTHER THREAD, THEY ALSO REFUSED TO FIX THE FUEL LEAK UNDER WARRANTY. DUE TO THEIR CONTINIOUS NEGLIGENCE, I DECIDED TO POST THE INVOICE FOR YOU:

Ask Hans the website for the colored floor mats and they are a lot less than $100 and look great.

I suggest you give us the part number they ordered so it can be checked out as being available.
NO I don't have a problem with your post. Just keep it civil. It sounds like there is a lack of knowledge in your dealership sales area regarding parts and generals service.
See if the issue you said the dealership denied has a Cadillac Bulletin issed for it. If so it can be fixed under warranty--as I understand it.
there are several Cadillac people that are members of this site and can help out with the right information.

I don't think they ordered it for me in the first place. They just wanted to sell me the ones they already had for the other customer.
