You'll need to introduce yourself--Dealer name, address--etc AND include a price/warranty information in your post please.

(I think your sign in the windshield says $69,995 which is high for this year car.)

Thanks

I can't remember loosing so much of an investment in any car I owned. $40,000 in exactly two years. This is outrageous, and I didn't even include the rims, sales tax and gas guzzler. Where almost talking $50,000 dollars..............HELLO?
It's no wonder their are few takers for this fine machine, but over priced machie. You'll need to introduce yourself--Dealer name, address--etc AND include a price/warranty information in your post please.

Actually BoBo it may be worse. My dealer GM just sold his XLR-V for $55k with the GM windscreen and some other stuff included (Certified Warranty).

We had this conversation a couple of years ago remember??? I suggested then that leasing may be the way to go for a new one since you would limit your expense to the monthly payments. 2 years 12k miles $1k /mo (+-).

Also I suggested that the better strategy might be to be the 2nd owner--ride it for 3 years and then get another one.

Just saying..........

I agree!!!!

I am hoping that the 2010 will be full of significant changes and not just a dress up. We'll see.

BTW, DOESN'T SOMEBODY OFFER "THE NEW CAR SMELL" IN A SPRAY CAN???
wE SURE WOULD SAVE A TON OF MONEY!!!!

Take care.

Yes they do but it's probably not the same as looking at 4 miles on the odometer. We could always put a piece of tape over the odometer for a year.I agree!!!!

Buying it used dosen't help too much either. I bought my '04 one and a half years ago for $42k w/11k miles and thought it was a great deal. I put on aftermarket wheels, new slotted rotors and a Corsa exhaust to the tune of $3k. It now has almost 27k miles on it and I have it advertised for $35k and haven't had a call. It's amazing this much technology wrapped in such a beautiful package doesn't stir the passion in people.

Put with a car broker, it will cost you but they get a nice car sold really quick.

Two months ago, I bought a certified 1-owner 04 with 34k miles, for $35,000 from a Cadillac dealer. I had looked at several and was amazed at the price. I change cars almost every year, so taking the huge deprecation loss on the newer cars does not make sense for me.

I purchased a certified 2005 in November 2007 with 45k for $35,900. Not bragging just providing another price point.
