I really hope they are upgrading the interior. This is the worst part of the car - its dated with a capital D

I agree too!!!! We discussed this last year at BG II> I am hoping that the upgrades will be significant!!!

Unfortunaltely for BoBo, Ray and me If they decide to "wrap the dash and the sides like they did in the new CTS we will need to get some help getting out of the car. It's tight now and that will make it tighter!!!

Ya know they make those chairs for the elderly that you push a button and the back raises so you don't need a crane to get out. Just have to have it installed. I get both feet planted on the asphalt and then hold the door handle. My daughter weighs 105 and she has trouble. This car is really low, but that's what looks so cool.BoboI agree too!!!! You have to remember with sports cars theres a special way to get in & out of them. Go research it and ur see...

Special way? You mean there are written instructions on how to extricate your butt out of a car? Open door - swing out legs - stand up - close door -

Glad someone wrote that down, I could see folks sitting there for days waiting for help to come. :glol :glol

It's not the "sports car" aspect of the ejection process, it's the Velcro (suede of the "V") aspect of the venture. :banghead

I saidit before, the velcro seat covering was a stroke of genius on the part of the cost-saving experts at GM. Why spend good money on high-quality, adjustable bolster seats when you can cover the seats with some fake suede that works much like velcro; holding the driver in place whether on a hard corner or trying to get out for a dinner date?

Proper way to get into a sports car is to open the door fully then lower ur butt onto the seat then swing ur legs in...then the proper way to get out is to fully open the door swing ur legs out then step up and get out. Now I didn't make this but watched a special on Dishnetwork all about etiquette for sports cars, now I tried and was surprised on how comfortable and easy it was!

Yep, that's basically what I was saying. This isn't rocket science. How many people have a wear spot on the inside of the outside bolster? Leather my butt. I had a new seat back cover put on by GM and it's very strange that it's worn again in the same spot and I don't slide in or out any more.................they dyed it.Proper way to get into a sports car is to open the door fully then lower ur butt onto the seat then swing ur legs in...then the proper way to get out is to fully open the door swing ur legs out then step up and get out. When I get in I put my right foot on the floorboard and flop into the seat. When getting out I swivel my body and step out left foot first.

I don't really think about it, I just get the h$ll in and get the h$ll out. When life get complicated enough that I have to read a set of instructions on how to get my a$$ out of a car....................It will be time to ride a bike. :yesnod

Hey, wonder if there is a users guide for mounting ones bike? Wouldn't be prudent to mount ones bike incorrectly. :nono :nono

There are just as many ways to mount a Harley (bike) as there are in "mounting" XLR's or anything else that passes through your mind. . .:jester

Mark, you said that if I came up for a visit, that you usually hide the good silverware. You really don't have to do that, I already have silver plate.:glol :glol
Mary ann, I think a certain moderator needs to go to his room by his own damn self.
