Stuck the charger on the battery tonight. Showed 30%. Going to take her out tomorrow and giver her a bath. Might even take a picture or two. What the hell happened to the wind restrictors? Thought I'd had it on my car by now. Oh, well.

I got an email from Steve Pennington at Windrestrictors. Apparently they are doing some last minute modifications to it to give us more options.

He said we should have it by "top-down" weather. I told him it was already top-down weather in Atlanta.

I'm a little disappointed that it is taking so long - this isn't the Space Shuttle. Hopefully it will be ready soon and it will work as we hope it will.:thumbs

It's "top-down" weather here in "ROCKET CITY" (Huntsville, AL) too.........and the Space Shuttle just landed a few minutes ago at the Cape. They both beat the release of the new WindRestrictor screen.

I've emailed Steve Pennington so much that I'm sure he's sick of me, but maybe if a few of you did the same, they might get off the pot.

They've been a supporting member of the Forum since early January, and I know we all appreciate that, but as of right now, they have no product(s) to sell us.:nono

Feel free to contact Steve, he's really a pretty nice guy.

Now that I'm off my soapbox, I'll let you get back to the original battery problem of this string:thumbs

I see no reason to rattle his chain. But the battery did get a full charge on it after 18 hours on the charger. Its one of those smart chargers. Can't over charge. I got to busy to take it out today. Its now raining. And tomorrow. So my cleanup going to have to wait. :nopity

Galen,

What is your charger again? Brand, Model, Approx Cost, and where purchased would be welcome.

Thanks,
Ben

This is the Battery Charger/Tender I used on cars and motorcycles for years. It keeps the battery ready to go at all times without overcharging it.
You can probably find this charger at a Battery Plus or Autoparts store near you.

Good luck.
