If I like the 2009 grill, when I see it at BG III, can I purchase one then? I have no idea if this is possible, just a thought. I was not sure if the BG dealer would have access to them.

They seem to be a pretty good dealer, but with most XLR parts would probably have to be ordered.

Here's what I found out:
There will be just 2 models, the standard XLR is being dropped and in it's place will be a special edition similiar to other special editions in the past and the XLR-V The new 09 front end will be similiar to the CTS, just a smaller version, but with the same look of the CTS.
There is a side vent , but not like the other cadillac models, this is a chrome vent about a foot in length that runs vertically just in front of the doors.
New wheels that look great.
All 09 xlr's will have the V hood with the raised center.
no word on power just yet, but would have to assume nothing has changed, but we'll have to wait on this one. (THIS IS THE ONE THING WE ALL EXPRESSED A NEED FOR)
Pricing will remain constant and similiar to last years model.

I serously doubt that you can get ANY 2009 parts in June.

They will barely be into their production runs and all parts will be allocated to the 2009 model year run.

In fact you may have to wait until November or so before you get something like a grill AND who know if it will "retro" to your car.

I don't think the new grill will be interchangeable with any of the other model years. From what I've heard, It's being make bigger than the current grill. Bill
