As of today, less than 200 Alpine White cars were built and we estimate the total 2008 Special Edition Alpine White cars to be around 250. I understand that the plant will stop building the Alpine White Special Edition in May 2008.

So far about 1 in 5 of the Artic White population are XLR Vs.

My Alpine White V came in on Friday. I'm having the Corsa exhaust installed along with a few extra goodies. I get it on Wed.. My Starblack goes back then too :(.

The Alpine White definitely gets everyone's attention..!

Good luck with your car. So far I have not had any issues with my 08.

That's because they are probably asking window plus $10K. I wished I had waited 6 months for my 06-V, maybe I wouldn't have lost all this equity, but no, I had to have the first one in California if not the second.

hey I have a question? I had a accident with my xlr and it has been over 30 days now that gm can not find a dash to cover the passenger air bag, which I was the only person in the car I do not know why that air bag went off. They said that it is on back order and they do not even have a date for it to come in because they said they do not have one even made for the car. I have contacted the dealer and gm customer care, and no body is helping me with this problem as of now. I had to return the rental because it passed 30 days and that is what my insurances covers, and gm doesn't want to give me a rental nor do they want to get the part that I have been waiting on. They keep saying that they are waiting for some one high up to take care of this but as of now nothing gm or the dealer has done to help me. What should I do about this problem? Gm has told me that it is there problem they do not have a dash but they can't do anything to help me till they get someone high in this case. Please anybody if you can help, I do not know what to do Gm really doesn't want to talk to me nor the dealer and we all know XLR is the most expensive car Gm makes. Please help someone?

Contact Allen (Mr. XLR) on this forum. He made a couple of phone calls and had Cadillac on the phone with my dealership within an hour of his knowledge of the issue I was having with my car.

I assume that it was completed at the time they ended the 2008 model year production almost a month ago.

We saw the very last Alpine White that was produced in our factory tour/visit at R3. It came off of the line just prior to the production of '09 models. When our group went thru the factory the Alpine White was sitting in the finished area and the production of the '09 was at 5. Our guide told us that the 08 Alpine White was only produced for a limited TIME whereas other editions were produced for a specific number. Boy, was it pretty .... :yesnod :yesnod

I would guess being it was a limited edtion, like the others it is probably around 250. Just my guess though.

So were all white 2008 XLR's "Alpines"?
I am looking for a white one and I see several for sale around the country.
Some of them are advertised as "Alpine edition", but some aren't.
They all appear to have chrome rims.
