I am curious if anyone can identify the source of the caps on my chrome wheels. I have not seen them before, but the wheels appear to be factory.

Now I can't wait for real top-down weather!

Congrats on your car ... where do you live?
homegameroom 03-04-2008, 08:38 AM There are various folks chrome-plating factory wheels and then making their own caps for them to match the chrome. The Cadillac logo is not quite right on any of them to avoid infringement of a very protected logo.
BAYAREAGLASS 03-04-2008, 10:09 AM try cadillac parts, maybe service department, they have people that they order aftermarket chrome from.

:iagree with HGR, I swapped my OEM wheels for chrome factory OEM wheels out of the west coast. The center caps look similar to what you have. You might be able to order emblems from Cadillac Parts and put them on a blank center cap.

p.s. I couldn't open the links to your car pics--enjoy your new ride:thumbs
SilverX 03-04-2008, 01:04 PM I have seen those center caps on eBay. I believe it was from Michigan Wheels. Search eBay for Chrome XLR and you may find it. Good luck.

carlnorum 03-04-2008, 01:15 PM The real question is why Cadillac doesn't make a coloured centre cap... that would be awesome.
Kahuna 03-04-2008, 02:14 PM Homegrown, that would make since since my car is a CA car. The good news is the caps are metal, not plastic.
I guess I just don't understand the picture posting :banghead - it works fine on my PC, but maybe it's getting them from my hard drive. I'll try again later.

"HOMEGROWN"...........I like it. How 'bout it Rich? Does the handle fit?
homegameroom 03-04-2008, 08:19 PM The only thing I've been smoking is cigars- nothing homegrown!:glol
But I do like it, and can see how one can misread it!
Kahuna 03-04-2008, 09:16 PM My apologies to homegameroom - must have been a senior moment and I didn't check before I posted.

jamsto 03-05-2008, 12:15 PM Standby, Thanks for posting this photo. It brings back memories of the original Blue Bunnies and the original Rendezvous I. I am sure you remember this day, you had just spent $100 for a poor girl's college education.
