I purchased a used 2005 XLR, black with shale gray interior, in October 2007. What a smooth ride! Had to put it up for the winter but good weather permitted me to drive it yesterday. What a treat!! I love this car!! Went by the dealership to get air in tires--this great guy named Bruce (Master Technician for XLR) loaded me up with info on the car, the XLR group here in Indianapolis, and all things XLR. Did I tell you I love this car!?! Anyway, hoping to meet everyone at one of the upcoming events.

This is great ....a whole thread to show Bruce how much we appreciate him (and that awesome wife Kathy .... ) We get all of this help and information from a guy who does this out of love of the car .... (friendship with them is the bonus!)

I think there is some Cadillac execs who should take a look at him .... what a perfect example of great customer service, knowledge, dedication and focus.

It's definitely nice to get out in the sun! It was gorgeous here this weekend, so I got my car detailed and went for a cruise up in the mountains... always good to get out for a drive!!

Congrats on your choice of a great car. (I also have an '05, Crimson Pearl/tan.) I'm happy that you have joined Bruce Ashpaugh's growing legion of fans. He and his adorable, car loving wife Kathy, are the perfect hosts for our central Indiana owners group. As a 'bonus', in addition to being a loyal friend, Bruce is a Master Mechanic, and takes great pride in solving any XLR problem.

On his own initiative, Bruce has organized local fellow XLR owners into a club of sorts. Together, we have had several neat driving outings and some great Bowling Green, KY factory tours. It's about time Dubai stopped building everything with the worlds oil money. Dubai has gone ballistic. The world is paying for all that outrageous building of this city. So, you would think they would have a decent Cadillac dealer.Enjoy it! Wish we had dealers in Dubai like the ones in the U.S. !!!
