I`ve talked to some people of GM-Europe and they told me it`s might possible for the 09 XLR V to have the 6.2 liter Supercharged 550 hp (LS9) engine in it.

I know the first car with this engine is the 09 CTS V but maybe at NAIAS we`ll hear more about this.

Well either way we should see a real competitive motor in the "V" in 2009 and going forward.

While I am understanding of the need to build some more ecological cars to address the market segment, I don't think the ecology nuts will cause GM to abandon their "Halo car."
