Anyone know where I can get a MAP dvd for my car less than the hundreds of $$$ a dealer will charge me?

Many threads on this subject.........

1. eBay has many listed.
2. A kind and generous Forum Member. Many have been passed along when replaced with more current versions.

Specify what year (version) you're willing to accept. The v. relates to the year issued (i.e v.5 was issued 2005).

No I bought the car used and I have a feeling the dealer just kept the MAP DVD because in pictures the map DVD is present because the display show a navigation screen. I'll just look on eBay

I'd go back to the dealer and demand the Nav disk. It's part of the equipment of the car--it wasn't an option. If they can't come up with it make them purchase the latest edtion for you free of charge--just my opinion.

Congrats on your purchase, you'll love the car!!

My assumption is that the dealer removed the Nav DVD for safe keeping as they readily disappear during test drives. But I agree that you are owed one - without it, the Nav hardware is worthless. I believe 2007 is the latest version.

Well Duke, I'm on the same page as all these here other fellas. The Duke would take that kinda crap. This is a whole bunch of horse droppings. Don't you pay a penny for a DVD or we are going to be mad at you and steal your Nav system.

Not sure yet if I can make BG III. Boat repair business should be going BIG time that time of year & I still have to wait and see what the 2009 XLR will have on it and the price of it. Maybe in late Jan./Feb. MR. XLR or someone at Martin can help me out.. :rolleyes :rolleyes
