There's been lots of discussion about the weather conditions that we WON'T drive our X's in .... and there have been a lot of posts that show that some of us have other sportscars, etc., that we WON"T drive in nasty weather ....

So, what do you drive until the sun comes out in the Springtime?

For us, if it's raining and we don't want to dirty-up Lola .... It's The Truck. Ray's 2002 Dodge Ram .... I fondly refer to it as his POS :jester (haha, it's not .... he keeps it just as nice as the MB and Lola, but I hate the ride ....!)

When it's absolutely, positively, without a doubt necessary (for whatever reason) it's time to drag out Maryann's '06 Nissan Maxima. :cry :banghead

Since I have a construction co I have lots of choices but Adelle uses her OTHER cadillac a 97 Seville in Slate grey more like a misty lilac though. I have over 20 Vehicals so my new GMC Envoy (my all around co vehical) and her Seville sit outside. Well until I get more garage space anyway! She drives her Seville 99.9 % and only uses my Envoy when she wants to hear Tiger Woods play On THe XM radio golf channel! jim

My 01 Acura MDX, which is practically like a bumper car. 118,000 miles on it and, for some reason, I never remember to lower the liftgate until AFTER I close the garage door! :banghead It also has a scrape along the rear side that it received while I was at Christmas mass......:(

Don't worry, the X gets treated MUUUUUUCH better!

Our daily drivers are ; '94 White Diamond DeVille Concours and '96 Carmine Red STS Seville. They are both wonderful cars.

Also being in the constrution type business--Electrical Wholesaler I need a truck for jobsites. I drive 2004 F150 Roush Supercharged Super Crew 4X4. It takes us anywhere and plenty of HP to do about anything. Gas mileage is horrendous though. In better weather we use the wifes 2006 Lincoln LS!

Just sold off my 1994 Lincoln Towncar with 255,000 on it. This was my bad weather car, now it is a company van until I get an everday replacement.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays my XLR from the swift completion of it's appointed rounds.

I drive it year around. :thumbs

I have 14 cars but I drive a 2005 Toyota Rav 4 which is also the vehicle that is towed behind my Winnebago Motorhome.. My wife drives a 2008 Lexus ES350.
I have only been able to drive my 2007 V 350 miles this year. My summer driving is split between it , my 96 Impala SS and a 2001 SVT Cobra Mustang that is putting out 535HP. So many cars so little good weather and time....

My XLR. the '08 is my daily driver until the '04 gets out of the shop, probably late tomorrow, but when we have snow we drive the '07 Escalade ESV and in the summer, well, I drive the '01 Prowler or my '55 PINK Cadillac, and Jim drives his '06 XLR or his '74 Vette. I do have to add that we only have the Escalade for the dogs as they won't fit in anything else we have!

When the snow and ice come we drive a 92 Seville with 17k miles on it or my 92 chev pickup. If you want to know what its like to drive a hockey puck go a few mile on freezzing rain in a XLR I did and it aint fun.:nono

I have a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero that i bought brand new (at like 1/2 price!) that I drive usually around december to april. Much better on gas than the XLR too, with the 4-cylinder 5-speed.

If it is under 60 degrees I rotate between the Tundra and the XLR. Over 70 degrees I rotate through the 7 motorcycles. Gotta keep the batteries up.
