New rotors, painted calipers, and LED lights all around! And maybe a boob job- the front bumper looks like its sagging a little- I may take it off and investigate... The botox just isn't working anymore! :lol

Mine is also kind of settled in for it's l-o-n-g winter's nap (though I did take it out last night on a quick errand). I'm certainly looking forward to warm, sunny days again...... next year. :cry

Just completed a 25X24 foot heated garage for my baby. Been living in this house sine 1960 and it took the XLR to make me go for the garage.

Gee, What's a heated garage? I have one that's air conditioned. Why do you all have to put your cars away for the winter? What's a snow ball?....................... like a golf ball?.........................and Xmas?........We buy presents all year around, Mark will attest to that.
O Hum!

Sorry tops down 90% of the time, but I guess that's just Southern California.New rotors, painted calipers, and LED lights all around! And maybe a boob job- the front bumper looks like its sagging a little- I may take it off and investigate... The botox just isn't working anymore! :lol

Hehehe, Big B, I was asking the same questions..Heated Garage? Will the X freeze if it is chilly? Can't it be dressed up in it's winter covers? It does not sweat in the heat here. It must get goose bumps in the winter up North.
We don't even have an A/C in our garage...I guess we like it HOT...hehehe Mea :reddevil

Sure, sure, rub it in! :jester

I also "did" the garage this summer- added a furnace and the epoxy floor coating, new paint for the walls, new cabinets and so on. Yeah, I said "furnace" and not "air conditioning"! I live in Ohio and get my drinking water from Lake Erie. Sure our river caught fire a few years ago, but the lake is full of drinking water... for now!:puke

Someday I'll retire to a warmer climate, unless Global Warming takes care of it for me!:lol or is it :eek ?

Hey all you kids up North, Come on down to Florida, we could use more XLR's down here. Especially with the warm weather year round, you can use your toys with top down or w/o all the time! :) Plus, we could all be closer and hang out with great company and awesome cars!!!!:party M

I discovered our X likes to drink Stag's Leap Cabernet! What a coincidence; I do too!!!

Unfortunately, it is not good for our X's health, so it has been decided we will buy him a case, but I will force myself to consume it.........

Oh, the agony of it all; being forced to drink all twelve bottles while our faithful (and thirsty) X looks on. :cry :cry

OK Folks....
Where do we get the mesh grill ? and how much trouble is it to install / It sure does give the car a better look IMHO.

Lane.
Lots of members have changed out the grill. I'm sure someone will chime in and give you some insight on this.
The big problem is your ACC (adaptive cruise control) which not work if you put the chrome grill in the bottom section of the grill. The radar system for the ACC will bounce off the grill.
You will get a lot of help after the weekend.

No trouble at all if you let the dealer do it. The cruise will still work as long as you get the small center crome insert and not the full lenght insert. You can find the grilles on e-bay and other places,(www.egclassic.com), but I figured since the car was new, and they sold me the grille for cost, I would let them do it. Now if they didn't feel they needed to charge me 3 hours labor for the install, I think the cost would have been close to doing it myself. Dealer list price is around $700 for both grille pieces. The grille they sold me is an EG Grille. Another Thread says the install takes about an hour.

My wife bought me a new chrome grille for my 04. Nice surprise. I found out that there was a lot of behind my back planning with the help of Cadillac Tech. It was even painted to match my car color. My thanks to all involved but I owe you for not letting me know for all these months and let me sweat it out.

The new grill will look awesome on Tiffany. We should be able to get it put on once the bad weather is gone. I think everyone knew about your grill but you. :glol I'm glad you finally got it,
