What exactly do you want to cover?

T here are covers made that cover the rotor so as not to show the rusty color, not sure if someone makes them for the xlr. It makes for a much neater appearance.

In my opinion, dust shields detract from the beauty of the car rather than hiding anything. As discussed in other threads on this forum, it'd be better just to upgrade to better rotors if the stock ones don't look good to you. Looking through the wheels at that XLR logo on the calipers is a beautiful sight............

My understanding is that such covers can cause heat build-up and will cause premature disc failure... so in the past, I've avoided them.

Deadringer, Roger To That Heat Statement. Much Beter To Clean And Paint Them. Only Takes A Few Hrs And Some Caliper Paint! I First Cleaned Them Well With Brake Cleaner ,then Polished The Xlr Logo, Masked The Logos With Tape And Cut To Fit ,brushed On Black Epoxy Caliper Paint From Eastwoods! Removed Tape And Viloa' Beautiful! Jim

The new rotors from the factory come powder coated on the ends and in the middle. They replaced all four rotors and pads for free because they went out in 11,000 miles. I know...........they aren't supposed to but they did and the new ones where powder coated.

If you want to cover the visible edge of your brake pad, you can get some stainless covers for them at http://www.electro-dynamics.com/

Which of the brake pad covers from Electro-Dynamics fit the XLR-V (all I can find are C4/C5 Corvette applications)? Has anyone purchased and installed a set of these?
