I was told recently that 2005 XLR production begins June 28.

Yes, 2005 model year production in getting real close. But 2004 is still running and it's sold out for all practiable purposes. I just hope that we don't start doing this car in before its time because we are not rejoicing in how get a vehicle it is!

with the exception of the thunder grey being eliminated I do not believe there were any substantial changes to the car for 2005 - be interesting to see what happens when Bowling Green tunes up for the Z06 and we get a true glimpse of the XLR -V ..... The Caddy CTS V has 400 HP and I would think that our XLR's will follow in that path.

I think the price increase was only $450 for the 2005 year.
