I have a 2005 XLR. My radio is half as loud as when I put a CD on. You can't hardly hear the radio when going down the road w/the top off. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you refering to XM?
the XM band is known to be much lower than the other radio bands or CDs

Michael is correct, the XM modulation has a much lower volume setting. Also make sure you DSP (Digital Signal Processor) is set to spacious, thus using the 4 bose speakers in your seat to their max.

Also check that your automatic volume control is on as well.. That works fairly well with the top down. In my case it's not so good with the top up, the exhaust sound messes it up I think.
