Aha! I think I have it figured out finally ... and it was so simple .... can't believe it was right in front of my eyes the whole time! We CAN create our own calendar of events .... on the same calendar that we click on to view the birthdays. At the top of the menu bar .... click on "calendar" ... when the calendar opens look down in the right hand bottom and there is a box of options ... Add Event,
Add Reoccuring Event ... etc. I chose Add Event ... "jumped" the calendar to November - chose the day after Thanksgiving (Nov 23) .... clicked on it .... and added the Bob's Big Boy information ... and voila ... saved it ... and it is there! Both the event and the information about the event is there :D :D A dual purpose calendar .... Birthdays and Events!
How about that? Now we can schedule our own events! :yesnod :yesnod

Unfortunately we can't enter any 2008 items yet. When 2008 gets added, we will put up the Rendezvous on the calendar.
