Could someone sent me a procedure on how to allign newly installed head light on A 2005 XLR. Dealer replaced defective ones and told wife their was no adjustment. The low beam on drivers side only shines about 15 feet and will not even show the white stripe lane dividers

I just got mine back from the dealer and the same thing - they didn't align the headlights.

The proceedure is in the owners manual. Look in the index for 'bulb replacement' and turn to the previous page. It says that with a torx driver, you just adjust two screws (horizontal then vertical) and there you go.

I'd take the car back and show the shop guy where they can be adjusted in the Owner's Manual. You might have to read v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y to them so that they understand. Sounds like a bad case of lazy to me.

How about just plain d-u-m-b? I'm really getting tired of hearing these sad stories.
