my brother once owned a shelby gt 350...about 11 years old at the time. forced to sell due to a transfer, he found it's market value far lower than hoped. it eventually sold in 1980 for a few K. it had low miles and was in next to showroom condition. that car, now 27 more years down the road, just sold at auction for 675K. perhaps someday, the XLR will be as collectible and valuable.
