I believe that unit (or a similar unit) is pretty flexible and can be adapted for use on just about any car. I've seen them mounted on Mustang Cobras, also seem them at custom auto shows.

Doesn't interfer with the ACC, huh? :confused

It will interfere with the ACC if mounted in front of the left part of the lower fascia opening where the radar is located. :)

All of the hardware mounts out of sight, the only time you pop up the plate is during that period of time between the initiation of the traffic stop and when you walk up front with the officer and say, "I'm sorry officer, you mean that plate?"

I think Bob should get one and mount it to the rear bumper. He could attach a custom plate that he can pop up whenever he is "competitively challenging" another vehicle in traffic. It would pop out and say;

"U LUZ" :glol :glol

All these big words are way to much for me. Competitively? I can only hope I spelled it right. I seem to remember that I wasn't qualified to speak on others behalves or is it behinds, but I do like the idea. How about with flashing lights?
I can't believe the things you guys make out a post about hidden license plate. Way to go.:cheers I think Bob should get one and mount it to the rear bumper. Thanks. I was thinking that the LCD is "cheap enough" that you can mount small rectangular LCD in front of the XLR. You can select any pictures that you want to put on it including license plate.

OK. that would be a good project for you since it seems to be up your alley.
How about an LCD on the rear of a car that you can type messages to the hot chick you just passed? or your worst enemies plate number as you go through the toll booth without paying. O the implications!Thanks. I was thinking that the LCD is "cheap enough" that you can mount small rectangular LCD in front of the XLR. Would it be wrong for me to say that the hot chick is already sitting next to you in your V ? :cheers
