My Xenon Blue XLR arrived on Saturday. It is better than expected.

congrats jamsto. How long did the whole process take. When did u first order your car, when was the car scheduled for production and how long after production did it take to get to your dealer..:party

I put a deposit down on it in November. The local dealer was allocated 4 XLR's and 3 people had put deposits, but wanted to see the car first. My deposit was to buy the car. I was told that the car was scheduled to be built about the 10th of December and was scheduled to be delivered before Xmas. It was at the dealer on 12/20. I am going out of town and left it on the dealer's showroom floor until 12/29. This is the first one delivered in New Mexico and is getting quite a bit of attention at the dealership.

After getting the Xenon Blue XLR, my wife liked it so much that she wanted it and I ordered another XLR. The new one is Crimson Pearl and is scheduled to be built on 2/4 and delivered by the middle of February.

Crimson Pearl is the only color I haven't seen. If you're in the Los Angeles area after delivery...:glol

You just never know with us if/when we might show up in California, and with both XLR'S. Yes, I am jamsto's wife. :lol :angel

You have an open invitation to join us on a cruise down any famous streets around... Hollywood Blvd., Wilshire Blvd., or the best, Mulholland Drive and Pacific Coast Highway! Better yet, all four!

Maybe we can organize a big party.

Because a friend of ours does major fireworks shows, we usually hang with him on the 4th itself, but I'll also know more as we get closer.

Looking at the calendar, maybe July 3rd would tentatively be a good day. Anyone else want to join the parade? Too bad the XLR didn't come in white, we could get red, white and blue cars to lead the parade!

On the 4th, we will be going to Las Vegas! Only our 3rd trip there since November!

Not that there is anything wrong with sharing this information to fellow XLR owners, but you might want to use a Private Message (there is a PM button on each append) when exchanging more personal information. I wouldn't want someone who shouldn't see travel dates to see them...

Another good point. Anyone interested in joining our caravan of XLRs and party, post and I will contact you. Maybe we should start a new topic specifically for this?
