Galen 09-14-2007, 10:08 PM Well, Got my rotors and brake pads today. Going to tackle it this weekend. These are cadmium plated instead of zinc plated. A bit more durable. I read an article about rotors that changed my mind about them. The drilling is 95% cosmetic, and weakens the disk. No real benefit but looks. So I did go with the slotted ones. I also had the same problem (cracking) with drilled (aftermarlet) rotors, but there has been NO REPORTS of that on this forum with the OEM rotors on the V's. I have rotor envy!!!!! They look great!!! Took about two hour start to finish.
