: Front end noise?

I noticed a noise in the car when it gets warmer. I 1st heard it at BG, then most of the time now. Every time I accelerate then back off then accelerate theres a clicking noise somewhere near the drivers door I cant seem to find it because the noise travels due to the plastic body. It reminds me of the sound older cars make when the universal joinst are starting to go bad. I'm thinking maybe the exhaust system gets hot and the slight rolling action of the engine moves it to the right under that light acceleration and causes it to touch someting?
Does any one have any idea where I can look or what it might be. I am leaving shortly to go to the dealer to ck out my melted headlights. Thanks all jim

It seems to me that there was a motor mount issue... Have the dealer check or maybe one of the XLR Team here will enlighten you.

I was thinking the same thing about the mount, I drove to the dealer yesterday and they are ordering me 2 new headlight units. I mentioned the noise but it was not there? I drove an additional 300 mi yesterday and no noise? I will nail this down but your advice about the mount gives me a great place to start. Thanks Jim
