Road and Track magazine is taking votes for the best new car of the 2004 model year. Included in the list of semi-finalists is the Cadillac XLR, along with 23 other cars.

To participate in the voting, go to www.roadandtrack.com and click on the big "Best Car 2004" block towards the top of the screen. Voting ends October 21, 2003.

The five finalists will then be re-reviewed in time for a January 1, 2004 to January 21, 2004 vote.

Also available for voting are seven "Best Dream Car 2004" candidates. This voting is listed as "just for fun".

When you get to their home page click on the "best car" box. It is a black box with large tan-ish lettering. Should be towards the left-center of the page.

Maybe my pop-up blocker or my spy-ware blocker are preventing me from seeing the page, but I see no content at all. Just a banner ad, a scrolling box on the right, a logo and links. The rest of the page is blank blue. I disabled my blockers with no change (now I have to go back and remove the spy-ware it dropped in my machine). Maybe they're site is broken???

It is appearing normally for me when clicking on the link in my original append. The background is blue and then the top menu options appear, followed by the big "2004 cars" banner.

Only suggestion I can make is to try some other similar home pages (www.motortrend.com?) and see if you have the same problem.

Logged in thru AOL and got the missing content. Don't know why I couldn't see it using MSIE. What browser are you using?
