At first glance this video was pretty nice, then it went a little south. But it was out there and I thought to share it with y'all.

Sorry about the last post. I love my XLR! I live in Hampton, VA and whenever I drive it, I get compliments from so many people and even some cops even pull me over just to say, hey, nice car. I have a 2006 Infrared XLR with a custom grill usually found on the V-series with polished wheels and I say its a good investment, as well as, an awesome driving experience. I am in the military and currently stationed in S. Korea and my wife gets paranoid when she drives the car now because of so many people wanting to touch it or approach her. So, with the first YouTube Clip, well, there will always be naysayers. I will be upgrading to the new 2008 when I return to VA. I hope all is well with all of you. Excuse some of the grammatical errors, Im using a Korean keyboard from a hotel while performing in a military exercise and its to painstaking to try to figure out some of the characters. Thanks

JWilks,

My sincere appreciation for your service to the USA. Sorry you have to be away from your wife and XLR (no priority intended). I love both of mine; one a little more than the other. I really enjoyed a three week business trip to South Korea about two years ago, ironically doing business with an automotive company. I also had the "keyboard" challenge while there and you did exceptionally well. Enjoy the kim-chi.....I got hooked.

JWilks ... We'll be happy to build a 08 XLR for you and if I am still at the plant, I'll take you on a private tour.

Good luck to you and I hope you are back soon.

Need to remember this is Top Gear; they are not real automotive journalists. This show is pure entertainment. They make their living by bashing cars, especially American cars. Interesting how they liked is the tires, European tires of course.

Greetings jwilks,

I will add my thank you for service to our country and I wish you a safe return and the very best to your family.

And regarding the YouTube clip it is pure entertainment, do not waste a moment wondering, the XLR is a superb luxury performance roadster. I evaluated Cadillac's XLR and Mercedes-Benz's SL500 as my final selection for purchase and Cadillac's XLR won my favor and I purchased a 2005 Cadillac XLR.

Take care of yourself and write us when you can.
