OK, Troy - how about SSR forum.com, GTOforum.com, Maybachforum.com, etc. Don't keep us in suspense :D

Someone already registered ssrforum.com.

The guy who owns the Idaho Corvette Page has a good SSR site at SSRinfo.com.

I did think about getting into that also. The way I figure it if I can get enough advertising to pay for each car I'll end up with quite a stable. :D I don't think that will work with Maybach though. :glol

Yeah, how many members will be on the Maybach forums? 3? hehe. What is it around $350,000.00? I guess there could still be lots of fanatics, but.. Hardly any owners.. I'm surprised, though, that the Viper forums are even pretty busy... But - $70k is a big difference...

The Maybach guys could probably surf while sitting in the back seat via satelite while James drives once around the block. :glol

Hey, if you're looking for a GTO forum, I've already set one up. It's running on the same familiar zeroforum software that Corvetteforum runs on. WWW.GTOExchange.com. Troy, I hope you'll forgive my self promotion. I couldn't help mentioning it once someone brought it up.

Troy.. For what you're doing for the Corvette community, they should atleast give you some kind of a rebate on a C6.. I'm sure there are a ton of people buying Corvettes that would have never went through with it without seeing your forum. I was never much of a Vette fan until I signed up at corvetteforum.com and saw that it was much more than just buying a car... I still wouldn't know what "the wave" was...

I can't see getting enough advertising from an XLR site to make much profit. I'd love to get it to the point where it would buy me one though! :cheers

Is advertising on CF how you paid for your Vette? I could imagin making quite a profit from the amount of advertising you have on that site...but you arranged it in a way that it doesn't get annoying, no pop-ups and all the baners are out of the way yet still easy to find when you want to. :cheers You did a great job with that:cheers

CF does pretty well on ad revenue. The expenses have grown quite a bit (bandwidth alone is a few thousand a month) but it does make a profit.

I'm still amazed at the way it has grown. I hoped that it would grow but I didn't expect it to become as big as it has. :cheers
