Pegasus made a good suggestion on getting a modification list going prior to the Rendevous so we can be sure to check out what we are interested in related to others owners cars. Both cosmetic and performance mods.

05 Blue Steel standard XLR with dark wood and Cashmere interior

Lund Performance exhaust (based on the Chip Foose design)
Lund Performance intake with K&N cones
Chrome grill
Chrome OEM wheels with gold emblems
Two tone seat leather matching light and dark cashmere interior bits
Limo tint back, 35% sides
Racing Pedals

Gee, reading that reminds me this is about the least modified car I have ever owned :)

Hi Kent, how about a picture with your OEM wheels because you didn`t had them on when I saw your car at "Rendezvous I". Also a pic of yout two-tone seats, please!

OK, here`s mine

04 Thunder-Gray with Cashmere interior

Corsa exhaust system
19 inch original XLR V wheels (235s on front - 255s on back)
Lloyd V floor mats
and that`s about it.

Hans,
You forgot the V badges you put on.

My list on my 06-V platinum with Shale interior.

1..Plastic windbaffle with V badge in the middle. Doesn't really baffle anythiing.
2..Supercharged badges removed.
3..GM badges removed
4..Supercharged badges put on hood cowling on both sides
5..Volant Air cooled cone filters/
6..Rain shield in front of filters in grill removed to get more air.
7..OEM 20" chrome dirty dogs
8..Rocker switch added to center console to open exhaust baffles when I want.
9..Llyod V floor mats.
10..Custom designed stainless exhaust plate with V in center.
11..Painted cherry red, front and back calipars, with the V painted to match the V badges on the car.

Loved to get my seats two toned. Could I have the inserts dyed a coco brown?

Bob, you are right and I also forgot my red brake calipers.

To get your V`s seats two-toned shouldn`t be a problem!!!! Yes, this would look nice:cool

You going to try to get it done before the Rendevous so you can show off the two tone seats to everyone?

Kent,
Did you have it dyed or changed out? I want to do my suede inserts on the seat and the door panel in a coco brown which would keep it a lot cleaner looking, but I don't know if you can dye suede............and there is those little holes for the cooling and heating that I worry about getting clogged.

Bob, I had the bolsters changed out. Better leather than OEM but I kept the perforated centers. Less than one day operation. They had perforated leather for centers but I did not see perforated suede for the centers.

what's your take on dyeing the suede. Do you think it could be done and look professional?
Maybe a coco brown, sort of a milk chocolote.
Like this!

My mother used to have suede shoes and purses dyed all the time. I'm just not sure which way would be cheaper. I would ask an upholstery shop.
