The movie Click with Adam Sandler has both the XLR and the Sixteen make appearances. Anyone know of other movies with the XLR?

I caught this show last night and a model, JAIME PRESSLY , was on giving a customized Corvette to her adoptive parents. In the process of selecting the Corvette and custom additions, she fell in love with a bought herself a black XLR that was on the dealer's lot. Not a big deal, but it did make an appearance.

In the movie Transformers, there is a scene with a Caddilac dealership in it. There are several cars on the show room floor. The one on the right of the door is an XLR. About 4 seconds of fame. LOL

Not exactly a movie, but on the TV show 'Shark" with James Woods, he drives a black XLR

This year he is driving something different then the XLR but I can't figure out what type of car it is.

Big Shots on ABC tonight at 10pm east has one of the cast driving an XLR and usually one or two in the Club parking lot. A lot of nice cars on this show.

Well,,,, maybe not in a moives but......... Does anyone get AARP the magazine? (Showing my age here in which I haven't put on the "what's your age" thread). The newest issue, with Caroline Kennedy on the cover, has a article about the funeral industry rip offs, with some pctures. Look at the car that being loaded with the money! Hummm,,,,, don't know if that's a good thing or not..... Maybe we'll be the only one that will recognize the car!

A few years back I used to work with the AARP division of The Hartford's car insurance line .... I took a call from a client in FL ... he had questions about insuring his new Cadillac .... an XLR ... the car was so new that it had not yet been rated for liability rates ... which happens when new cars are released before statistics can be gathered ... I remember how incensed the guy was because I - A: Did not know what an XLR was, and B: could not give him a rate quote on the spot. Now I wonder if any of the forum members was that client! ;)

An interesting thing about AARP auto insurance members ... most all of the insureds drove awesomely high-end cars .... Lexus, Cadillacs, Beemers, MB's lots of Corvette owners .... and Camrys .... if an insured called to put insurance on a new car, if they owned a Camry already, then they usually replaced it with another one. Generally people over 55 drive quality .... "Boomer" males drive hot cars ..... their wives, luxury. Like I said ... generally .... and most every guy who owned a Harley talked about it! :thumbs

Paul and I just saw a very small clip of a Black V with top down parked infront of a strip club on CSI Las Vegas Dec 6th Thursday showing. A taxi pulled in to ruin the view, but it looked like Floyd's V. Hmmm, was that U? LOL :jester
I would say it was poor advertising placement and the clip was so short, Paul had to rewind and pause..hehe.:o Mea

Well, this weekend I went to see Han**** and someone must have gotten their red xlr in as an extra in the red carpet scene. - or could it be that cadillac is actually promoting their flagship car in some way - even if it is only for a second of silver screen time?

Anyhow, as the shot panned across the screen I was like, "Ooh! There's my car!"

I am fairly confident that unless you have developed that same special ability that we have to recognize familiar faces to recognize XLRs you never would have noticed the car is even in the picture. - But it is.
