Here are the pics as promised.
The car is now ready. And Hans, i got the TÜV in 10 Minutes!!! It was surprisingly easy.

Details:

The wheels are from Italy. Brand is etabeta/tettsut. 9 x 20". Tires 245/35/20 I bought new sensors for those wheels (which cost 400 Euro!! what a rip off).
The interior:

We used over 20.000 Swarovski Crystals. it took 63 hours for one person. Each crystal is placed by hand.
If somebody wants to order it for his xlr :yesnod : price 3900 Euro.

OK. Thats it.
Now let me know, what you think or how crazy I am.:cool :smash

yeah, my wife insisted on the bling. so i tried to keep it classic as possible. :-)

I am very happy with the wheels. wasnt sure, if they fit to the car. but they look great and i am reliefed.:cheers

Hi Tobi,
great looking car you got. I think the swarovski would look on ebony interior even better but I like it. I think I wouldn`t like it on the inside but maybe the key fob, I think about this and let you know.

No problems with german TUEV, that`s great to hear!

Do you have 245`s on all four or bigger ones on the rear?

thanks for the compliment. we definetely have to meet, when i visit my grandmom.

i have 245 tires front and back. we thought of bigger ones on the back with 10 x 20" , but we thought there could be some problems with the german tüv. so i decided to stay on the save side.

and if you want to have your key blinged - i would love to get it done for you. of course it will be free of charge. my designers can put everything one you would like to have. any colour, any design.

the car will go to some tuning magazines in the next month.

hans, next week you can see it on autobild.de

we will show it together with cadillac on some carshows and events.

Tobi's wheels are great, but that bling thing is a little much for old Bob. To each is own,Hi Tobi,

we are going to bling a hummer together with cadillac germany. the target is more in the direction rapstars and rich russians (and there wifes). they come all over from eastern europe, because in berlin is the first big cadillac dealer for east europe.:seeya

and: for the tuning szene its finally something completely new. and so we will have a lot of free press about our company for free. ;)

hans, i dont know, if it is in the print issue. but i dont think so. they need the pictures a couple of month before the deadline. so maybe in spring.

If you insist you can give a tip to the girl who will design the key for you.
i dont want to take money from my german xlr friends. :cheers

and the funny thing with the wheels:

i bought them for 3.300 euro (including tires) and then the dealer called me, that he scratched them a little bit. so he gave me a 800 euro discount. i think you cant get a better deal in germany for 20" x-black chrom wheels. :D
and anyways..... it would have taken me arround one week to get this mini-scratch into my newe wheels. i dont know why, but it happens to me all the time when i buy some new wheels.

on a Hummer or maybe the Audi Q7 you get for doing the bling-thing there`s a lot more work to do for you.

How about doing some promotion in Vegas, the big Casino - Limousines would look very cool with the svarowski-interior.

Do you drive your XLR right now or is it scheduled for car-shows?

hi harry,

i drive it right now (more or less. due to the cold weather its more in the garage).

we will have it on some shows in spring and summer.

yes, we are looking for some contacts in the "casino world" .

our goal is to bling a compelte car - inside AND outside !!!:cool :lol

I have one agent here who will talk to the casinos in vegas, atlantic city and somewhere in asia.
if you know somebody - give him my data. :-)
