Hey, it could be black which does nothing for this car. That color looks more like lavender than purple. It looks a bit girly, if that's a word.

I think it actually looks better than the Passion Red. I wouldn't buy one in that color but a lot of women might.

By the way, Passion Red (a/k/a Victory Red) looks great on a Z06, but I just don't think it fits the image of a luxury roadster. It would have really been sharp if GM could have come up with a deep metallic candy apple red. Of the three reds that are out there now in the XLR (see my earlier post) I would rank Crimson Pearl as the best looking with Infrared a close second.

I think everything is a blow to we people that laid out big bucks for a car that can't even hold it's value for less than a year.

Standby--don't feel bad. I bought one of the first C6 Vettes and then Chevy made 37,000 in first year and it plunged. I have an 05 Commemorative edition Viper--number 9 of 100 and it cost $92K and just saw one for sale at $68k. I did get in on the V fire sale and got one under $80k, but at 100 or 80 it is such a great car. But sorry to hear of oil leak. Damn
