: How to Search for Dealers with XLRs

Some of you will no doubt have a chuckle over this question, but how do you easily locate dealers in your area that have XLRs in their inventory (specifically '07 V's) and perhaps see one list of what they all have by color? We've gone to the Cadillac website and can find no easy way to do this. There is a provision to specify your zip code and locate dealers within selected radiuses. The results list all dealers (regardless of whether they have what you want) whose inventory must then be searched one at a time. Surely there must be an easier way and we're just not finding it! :nodno

Any help would be appreciated.

Most dealers will list also on autotrader.com.--just put in your zip code. But if it is a V you want why not find a dealer that has 1 or more 06s --there are some great deals to be had below $80K. I bought 1 in NVa, 2 weeks ago.

I've got news for you, the Cadillac inventory search engine is a piece of junk and so is the one at GM Buypower. No wonder the dealers can't sell their cars -- half the time you can't find them. At least not via the internet.

Thanks for the offer Sheri, but the question Ed and Sandra asked is a good one. How do you do a search for dealers with XLRs on the internet?

I'll contact you separately and give you the information on the vehicle I'm looking for.

Sheri,

Thanks for the offer. At some point we might like for you to do a search for both red and black XLR Vs in the Carolinas, but not at the present time. With the holidays we have too many commitments to have enough time to do any serious "looking." Also, if we were to accept your kind offer, we would not want dealers contacting us.

We must say we're still puzzled as to why Cadillac doesn't make this search capability available for general use via the internet.

When I was looking for my XLR back in 2004 I went down to the post office and they gave me a map with all the zip codes in Texas.
I then went to the GM site and started putting in the zip codes starting with the ones close to me and working out.
Now at first there were no XLR's around at all so I had to go back and start looking again each week because you don't know what is coming in each day.

Now this would take to long if you what to look all over the US. "If you would buy from anyone/anywhere then I would look to Mr. XLR for a deal. You can't beat him for knowledge and customer care thats for sure."
Now if you only what to buy in you state I think going to the post office would be the way to go. You can beat GM at there own game that way.
I also did this when I was looking for my wifes Ford Limited Expedition.

I work for a dealer in Ohio, so I can find the info you want. There are none showing in the Carolinas at the moment, most are in the North. If you want help with location, I can tell you who has them. Not trying to push anything, just trying to help you if you would like.
