Hi Folkz ... Just wanted to pop my head in and say hello to the forum members. I recently purchased a leftover 2006 XLR (silver/black) thatz a twin to my '66 Corvette roadster. Like a nut, I plan on driving it all year and hope it does well during our New England winters (with snow tires). Come spring time, I plan to install some Corsa exhausts to improve the sound.

427,
Glad to have you on board.
We have a great group of people here if you have any questions.
I don't think very many of us use our cars in the winter "we like Sunshine inside our cars not snow. Oh I remember you can put the top up on there car, sorry I forgot. "LOL"" but please let use know how the car does in the snow and ice.

Good to hear from another New Englander. I'm living in Southern Maine, and my '05 stays in the garage most of the winter, tho on nice days it gets a little exercise.
Not many XLRs around here, my dealer says he's only sold 3 since the 04's came out.
I never see another on the road.
Makes me feel kinds special.

Thanx for the welcome ... I'll be happy to keep you posted on my winter driving adventures. Gotta run ... Time to pray for more global warming.;)
