Trunk will not open but will open to put top down its a 05 XlR try not to go to GM .

afraid you'll have to go to Gm with that one.

I just had the same problem. It finally took a reprogamming by Cadillac's regional trouble shooter. (It took a week to get him to Macon, ga.)
