I see by today's Trib that Jack Smith, retiring from GM, is trading his Corvette for an XLR. He says that it's more comfortable.

Geezer 86vette 04-15-2003, 08:32 AM that's a sign of old age! when you turn in the vette for a caddie because you can't get in or out! logansowner 04-15-2003, 08:02 PM No kidding:rolleyes Ofcourse a Cadillac is more comfortable, I would be pretty pissed if it wasn't:rolleyes Jinx 04-19-2003, 12:27 AM Were I in his shoes, I'd probably trade a $50,000 sports car for a $75,000 sporting GT too. The XLR looks to be a great car. Ultimate performance notwithstanding, XLR has it all over the Corvette. Plenty quick, athletic, luxurious, sexy, gizmo appeal... Sometimes shredding pavement isn't the most important thing in life. .Jinx | |
