I Have An 04 Xlr With 2800 Miles. One Of The First Ones Released. It Has Been At The Dealer For A Week Due To The Seam On Gas Tank Splitting; Supposedly This Problem Has Occured A Few Times Also In Florida.. In Order To Replace It They Have To Remove Transmission And Rear End.
I Just Know It Will Never Come Back In Proper Working Order. But I'm "stupid" I Told Myself Not To Every Buy Another Gm Product(but I Did) Never Again. Luckily I Didnt Blow Up.

1) So Far 2 Recalls
2) A Problem Wher Trunk Lid Would Open But Not Close (needed New Contactor) Only Took About A Week
3) Now The Gas Tank Extravaganza

I Spend More Time With Loaners

Gm May You Rest In Peace

.................broke out the whole orchestra for ya!

you bought a first-year-out vehicle for the same reasons most others did.....the uniqueness of an outstanding car.....but you had to expect there would be some issues. A gas leak and a top contact??:eek
Put some miles on that car and enjoy it!!:thumbs

I Would Enjoy It If They Fixed Problems In 1-2 Days Instead Of 7-10 Days
