: An XLR Kind of Day
Ed and Sandra 04-16-2006, 07:21 AM Yesterday was a beautiful day to be enjoying an XLR in North Carolina. The temperature was in the mid 80’s, the trees are leafing out, and the dogwoods and azaleas along with lots of other trees and shrubs are blooming magnificently. Needless to say we took advantage of it and had a most enjoyable ride. Afterwards we made a few snapshots of the XLR just around the house and thought we would share them. Click on the thumbnails below to see larger versions of the pictures.

Would love to see more pictures of XLRs on this forum. We do enjoy them and they don’t have to be in special settings.
Best regards,
Ed and Sandra
upstate 04-16-2006, 10:21 AM OK I agree. Here is my Foose XLR.
harrysxlr 04-16-2006, 10:39 AM Hi Ed and Sandra,
very nice pictures and very nice weather. Here in Germany it`s about 55° rain and windy - the most worst weather we`ve had over years for Easter.
I would like to post many pics of my XLR but always have trouble with "file is too big".
Harry
harrysxlr 04-16-2006, 10:43 AM Great looking machine Bill!
My brake calipers are now the twin of yours, got them done red at my dealership.
These Foose wheels look very good but I think you know soon I`ll have the V wheels from Bob on my XLR. They on their way!!!!

upstate 04-16-2006, 11:08 AM OK Bob where do I find info on posting large pictures like that?
standby 04-16-2006, 11:15 AM Bill,
go to http://photobucket.com/, sign up for free and then upload as many pics as you want into your members location. Just follow directions.
After that, open up a post and minimize it to the taskbar and then open up photobucket with all you pics, cut and paste, but when you paste use the little envelope up above to insert your cut into, when you hit the button to post, they will all be there. Separate each photo with the enter key or the pics won't show up.
Bob
Having trouble, call the easter bunny or me.
harrysxlr 04-16-2006, 11:32 AM Bob, Hans is no dummkopf:glol

standby 04-16-2006, 02:11 PM Hans, you must use the yellow envelope in order to get the big picture. Did you go to http://photobucket.com/ and sign up? After you do you can load a bunch of pics into photobudket and then download them into the forum using the envelope. Once you get the hang of it you will no longer be a dummkopf, but for now you a dumb bunny. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_15_32.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZS) http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_9_12.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZS)

Love your XLR pictures. Nice photography, and did you notice the nice sunburst on the left headlight in the lower middle picture?

Might be a little too big??? What is just right, sounds like the three bears!
standby 04-16-2006, 09:57 PM Now if only we could get Hans to do this............Those pics are fantastic, especially the one with a o so familiar exhaust plate and rims. Congrats on figuring out photobucket. If everyone could get this down we would have some really nice pics.
Good going
Bob

A good size to use is 600 x 400 pixels at 72dpi. That works well for people with a screen resolution of 800 x 600 or higher because normally it would not be necessary to scroll to see the full picture.
