I think they will be lucky to move 4,000 in total in the US this year. Here in Germany the Diesel`s in the luxury car class like S-class, 7 series or A8 makes already about 70% of there sales. Diesel is cheaper here than gasolin and the fuel economy is a lot better. Till now they don`t offer an SL as a diesel but it will be soon. GM plans to put diesel-engines in there CTS and STS models too, for the European market. The new BLS is available with a 150 hp d engine and the fuel economy is about 35 mpg. My daughter loves my XLR very very much but I think I buy her this new BLS, she test-drove and likes it.
