These pictures in the left rear most point in the trunk, show the area where the control module is for the exhaust baffles on the 06 XLR-V. Lift up mat and take cover off, now just run wires up to the area you choose to mount the rocker switch. When you pull this disconnect, you get the same sound as when you pull the fuses, but you don't loose climate control, etc. Take these pics into paint and zoom in and you can read my notes I've put on the pics.:thumbs :thumbs Your gonna like this sound.:flag

two of the pics you cant read, so just unplug that white connection on that left side and exhaust stays open and climate still works? then plug it back in and everything is back to normal

Bowling Green Ky, you are sitting so close where these wonderful cars are built.
BTW I always enjoy`d it to be there for the Vettes and since late 04 for the XLR`s.

Bob, (standy) gave a good demonstration of the exhaust baffles opening.

What color is your V ?

If you copy those pics to your computer and then expand them, you can read them just fine..............You are right in your assumption about the plug. BTW, Allen Cadillac decided not to cut in the swith, something to do with them being responsible if something goes wrong. I've been driving around with it unplugged for two days and I think I'll just leave it alone. The noise gets to be a little much after awhile.

I disconnected the baffle control module this weekend to check out the sound. After about 5 minutes of driving my foot almost fell asleep from all of the vibration, and my wife wouldn't stop complaining about the noise.

It turned out to be a very short experiment.
