I ordered mine last January with a verbal from the owner that I would pay no more than MSRP.
At that time, I didn't expect the V to be more than 86K. That turns out to be the dealers cost, so their making a tidy sum on the V at 100K.
My dealer has just been notified by GM that I'm lemoning my vehicle, so I don't know how they are going to react to that news. My lawyer has had a final offer from GM, but is 7K short of 88K which is my total investment. I was keeping the lid on this out of respect for my local dealer, but since GM is not complying with the California state lemon law, I see no reason not to share this information, so we are filing suite. Games on!

What car do you have (XLR?) that is lemon - if so what year and what is the problem?

I have an 04, with a very hot console in the summer (147 degrees) in the cup holder using a laser heat gun from the first 1,500 miles, but Cadillac wants to use the statilitrak problem which happened every since I had the car and use the current mileage so they don't have to pay back so much money.......That's not going to happen. If you get aggressive with the car, the DIC reads out,"Service stabilitrak," and in order to get the message off, I have to shut down the vehicle.
There's been many people on this site that have had the hot console problem with the XLR and Corvette and it's time they owned up to their problem.

I expect to get mine in the next few weeks. I have a deal to buy at MSRP.
