We're looking ahead to the C6, of course, but KEWL wants to get into other vehicles as well. The XLR is high on our list, as is the SLR.

If i remember correctly from the C5's birth, exhaust and intake were the first two categories to be touched up on. Then interior alterations consisting of shift knobs, decals, etc. popped up.

Don't expect much in the aftermarket for the Cadillac the first couple years. Many of the Corvette (C6) aftermarket stuff when it comes should apply to the XLR as well.

How is that? The C6 isn't the same car; it doesn't have the same engine. It only shares the same frame, which is a different length and the suspension system.

Well exaust systems and stuff like that. Take a good look at the engine on the XLR with the beauty covers off it looks a whole lot like an LT1. My feeling is its not a "real" northstar but a 32 valve version of the next generation LT1.
